ABAD The Ties That Bind

Reception: Saturday, 13 August 2011, 7pm–10pm Exhibition: 31 July–2 September 2011 Deadline to Gallery: 15 July 2011 Artists are invited to create their own book pages that illustrate their unique interpretations of THE TIES THAT BIND all living things universally through death. They may also choose to celebrate the ties that now bind all ABAD artists throughout the world (courtesy of Ray Johnson and Matthew Rose). Any interpretation is welcome.

Una farfalla di nome…
C’era una volta…
una farfalla di nome Matthew
che volava nel cielo infinito
e mentre volava
faceva cadere del polline
polline che si trasformava in fogli di carta (4” x 6”)
ogni foglio che toccava a terra
faceva crescere un fiore
tanti, tanti, tanti artisti
andarono ad annaffiare i fiori
e
magia
i petali dei fiori si trasformarono in immagini
immagini artistiche
il vento tiepido della sera
accarezzò i fiori e
prese delicatamente i petali/immagini
e li porto in giro per il mondo…
ciao, popolo di ABAD
